  • I hope that you are having a wonderful, restful summer. We have been busy this summer working on a number of exciting initiatives. More on that soon.
  • Before school begins, school uniforms will be on sale at school at the following dates from 9AM to 12PM: August 26-29, September 3 -4 (from 7:30am to 12pm). Uniforms will NOT be open the 5th and 6th.
  • On Thursday, August 29th at 1pm we will have our annual flag raising. All are welcome to attend.
  • A letter containing beginning of the year information including a few new procedures for the coming year will be distributed by email and available at the school if you’d like to pick it up. Additionally we will have metal detectors installed within the next couple of weeks. There is a letter regarding security procedures. Please note that all visitors will need to come through the metal detectors upon entry.
  • If you are new to our community, please sign up for emails by filling out this form.
  • In an effort to make the first day streamlined, Pre-K assignments for this school year will be given through email by 9AM on Tuesday, September 3rd. If you’d like to receive your child’s placement, please click this form here. Additionally, if you are lacking internet access, you can come in and view their placement by Wednesday, September 4th.
  • If you’d like to receive the placement of another child outside of Pre-K, please click this form here.
  • Registration for Morning STARS and CASPER will begin on Thursday and Friday September 5th & 6th after school from 3-6pm. The cost of CASPER is $150 per month and Morning STARS is $58 per month. Payment for both programs is required at registration either online or with a money order. No CASH or Check. Both programs begin on Monday, September 9th.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL REMINDERS

  • Pre-K parents, please wait until 8:45 to escort your child to their classroom. If you received your child's placement, you can proceed directly to their classroom at that time. If not, there will be staff stationed outside the main entrance and around the outside of the building to help you find your way.
  • Parents of students in K-2 will be able to enter with their child's class and drop off bags of supplies. After dropping off, please help us maintain a secure environment by leaving immediately.
  • Appointments for the main office and child study team will be done with the security desk starting at 9am. We are doing this to ensure safe entry for our 850 students. Please be patient.
  • The uniform store will be open from 9-12 on September 5th..
  • Because it is the first day and unexpected situations will likely arise, please be patient as we address them. We are all working to make sure your child has the best school year and we can use your support, cooperation and understanding!
  • This is going to be a great year and we at Cordero cannot wait to welcome your child tomorrow. Get some rest!
