We at Cordero are pleased to announce that we are one of the 12 finalists in the Sustainability STEAM Challenge Flag Design Contest! The Jersey City Public Schools in partnership with the Office of Sustainability of Jersey City has a district-wide STEAM project focused on Climate Action! Our Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students have taken on the challenge to create a design to bring awareness to concerns surrounding climate change.
The winning design will be displayed on a flag that will fly over City Hall, the school that the winning student attends, and the Jersey City Schools' central office.

Class of 2020 students will receive a formal letter regarding refunds and preliminary procedures for Moving On Ceremony this Friday. Please check your email and phones to ensure you receive the robocall.
The application for Extended School Year for students with autism is available. There is a PDF linked on the Sunday Digest which you can fill out, save and email to your child's case manager. Or, you can print it, fill it out by hand, take a picture and email that to the case manager. Either way, please ensure that you get it to them no later than May 26.

Does your child/children want to lead the school in morning exercises digitally? Please visit this form and upload your child or children doing the pledge of allegiance and mottos. They will be selected at random and shared with the entire Cordero Community. Note, you must have a google account to do so, you will need to consent to the video being shared. The video cannot be bigger than 100MB.
