Pre-K Virtual Lotteries

Text of Notice:

Thank you for selecting the Jersey City Public Schools Preschool Program! Due to an

overwhelming number of students registered for Rafael Cordero School- PS #37 and the number

of available pre-k spots, Pre-K 3- and Pre-K 4- lotteries were conducted. As a result of Executive

Order 107, related to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Jersey City Public Schools remain closed.

Virtual lotteries were held for Rafael Cordero School- PS #37. The Pre-K 3- and Pre-K

4- lotteries were recorded and can be viewed on the District website using the following link:

http://www.jcboe.org/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=1537790&type=d&pREC_ID=1959763. Students were identified by their initials and date of birth on the virtual lottery.

Please note that this is not a placement letter. Upon further guidance from the New

Jersey Department of Education regarding School Year 2020-21, you will be notified about your

child’s placement. We thank you for your continued patience during these unprecedented and

challenging times.
