DISTRICT NOTICEGood afternoon, As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 health emergency and follow Governor Murphy’s recommendations. The schools will remain closed until after the Spring Recess. The students have enough work for 21 days, and we strongly encourage everyone to continue working as the teachers will grade the online and paper assignments and use the grades for the third marking period. Any child under the age of 18 can pick up meals at 20 different schools throughout the city. Please check the website or social media for specific information. We will reevaluate the situation and the reports from the Health Department during the second week of April and provide you with updated information. As of today, students will return to school on Monday, April 20, 2020.

If your child did not complete the Week 1 prompt, they have until Tuesday to do so. Ms. Piccillo and Mrs. Todd are in Google Classroom during the week to help your child with their writing prompts. Please keep in mind that the prompts are being graded and that all future prompts are due on Friday. Stay safe and healthy.
Good morning Cordero Community! We hope you are staying healthy! Mr. Adinolfe and Mrs. Fuchs have created a Google Classroom to stay connected in the PE & Health subjects called Cordero Physical Education. It is intended for all grade levels from PK-8. Parents are invited to utilize the classroom as well because they have included several free workouts and activities for parents so you can also stay healthy, keep moving and get some stress relief! There is a section with free workouts your children can do as well. Many of them have done some of these during their classes and they are a lot of fun! They will put any future assignments, activities, videos, or competitions for PE in this Classroom. They are also considering using Zoom to invite different grade levels to join them for fun workouts we can do together in the future. To join the google classroom the code was sent to your emails. You can also contact either teacher and they will send it to you as well.
