  • Thank you for all of the families and staff members that supported our Tag Day and Jean Day. We were able to raise over $250 to fight Childhood Cancer for the Copa Mirabel Foundation.
  • Thank you also to the families that met with teachers on Tuesday during our parent orientation. Please continue the collaboration with teachers by communicating with them. Out staff emails are on the Sunday Digest blog as well as on the Cordero Weebly.
  • Middle School Sports start Monday and any student that wants to play flag football.needs to have a physical handed in as soon as possible. Other sports that are coming this year are Basketball, Volleyball, Track and Soccer. Please contact Mr. Carew for further questions.
  • McNair Academic and Infinity Application information have been given to all 8th grade students. Here is the letter sent home.
  • This year the Bookmobile will be made available for grades 3-8 beginning September 26th.  Please see the parent letter, library card application and Bookmobile schedule
  • Cordero sweatshirt order forms will go out Monday September 23rd and all orders will need to be submitted by Friday October 4th for all students from grades Kindergarten to 8.
  • On Oct. 15th vision screenings will be done for all Pre-K - 3rd grade students. Please see the flyer and consent forms in English and Spanish for more information
  • Our annual Walk to School event will happen at 8:15 on Friday morning, September 27th. Join other families and Buster the Bus for our walk starting at 8th and Erie Streets. That day students in the lower grades will also have an assembly about safety with Buster the Bus. Forms were sent home in the lower grades last week. Please send it back to make sure we have a count.
  • If you are new to our community, please sign up for emails by filling out this form. Please also provide your email to the main office so they can ensure it is on Infinite Campus.
  • Parents that use strollers to transport children, please be advised that we need to keep our entry doors clear. Strollers have contributed to a traffic jam on our sidewalks and this disrupts the safe passage of our teachers and students. Please be mindful of where you are stopping with your strollers. Additionally, please remember that one of the key skills for our younger students is learning how to walk to school independently. If you have the time, please make the time to help your children grow.
  • Paper lunch applications were delivered to homerooms on Friday which means that you should receive yours this week. Please complete it as it helps determine funding for our school. If you have internet access, you can complete your lunch application online this year at: https://www.myschoolapps.com
